QLd take 2, family in Mackay, NAIDOC week celebrations, Airlie Beach, xmas in July

Went for a day trip from Sarina to Eungulla national Park very nice Colm was impressed with the roads and mountains, good for bike riding he says

The other big industry is sugar cane and ethanol here is a cane harvester in action

A ?restaurant in the middle of Sarina where colm took me for breakfast one morning and Dianne commented on the lack of a certificate from the health dept but hey what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! and the bacon and eggs with the butter and toast were yummy and the tea was hot and a full pot of it too

Up at airlie beach for a couple of days, nice place to see but full of backpackers and drunk hooligans

By the lagoon in the afternoon we did go for a swim the next day but it was still cold.....

Next we took a day trip up to Bowen reminded us of Carnarvon a lot
